Introduction
Welcome to Waypoints Counseling! I am Erin E. Evanson-Lass, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Board-Approved Supervisor in Texas. I am privileged to work with adults, families, children and individuals, ages 10 and up. I use a variety of techniques based on the personal needs of my clients with a holistic approach considering the whole person in their environment. If you find that you’re experiencing difficulty with this thing we call “life,” perhaps I can help. Together we can work to navigate the rough waters this world can often dish out. I am an EMDR Certified Therapist (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) as well as an EMDR Consultant in Training. EMDR Therapy is a form of therapy that helps people heal from trauma and other distressing life experiences. I received my undergraduate degree from Kansas State University in 2007 and my Master of Social Work Degree from Washburn University in 2010. I am also a veteran, and served in the United States Army for 5 years with deployments to Iraq and Honduras.
