Introduction
Narcissistic abuse is one of the most painful, disorienting experiences a person can live through. As a Certified Narcissistic Abuse Treatment Clinician (NATC), my mission is to provide precise, impactful treatment, designed specifically for survivors of narcissistic abuse & those with narcissistic personality styles. Survivors, who typically already feel lost & misunderstood, deserve carefully curated care that aligns with their reality. Whether my clients would like to use the word “abuse” is up to them. Regardless of what we call it, recovery during & after these painful experiences can feel unbearable– but you are not alone. A key part of my approach is psychoeducation. Together we will examine patterns & dissonance, finding the best ways for you to cope & retrain your nervous system. I will provide you with tools to protect you from further gaslighting & teach you to trust yourself again. As we work to limit self-blame, we may also grieve, rebuild, & explore your identity. It is generally the case that people with narcissistic partners have a deep capacity for empathy, love, & vulnerability. Often, my clients find that these aforementioned strengths were exploited, leaving them feeling lost, confused, betrayed, deeply distressed, or even infuriated.
