Introduction

Hello and a warm welcome! I'm Erika Fadahunsi Lizardo, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in the great state of Georgia. My ultimate mission is to heal communities by empowering younger generations, healing families and couples, and providing essential mental health therapy to individuals. As a lifelong advocate for mental health, I have dedicated my career to making a positive impact in the lives of those I serve. I firmly believe that by addressing mental health concerns and fostering strong relationships within families and couples, we can create a ripple effect of healing and transformation that extends far beyond individuals. With extensive training and experience, I bring a compassionate and client-centered approach to my practice. I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where individuals can explore their emotions, develop effective coping strategies, and gain a deeper understanding of themselves. Understanding the unique needs of each person, couple, or family is at the heart of my work. I tailor therapeutic approaches to provide personalized care and help my clients navigate the challenges they face. By empowering them with the tools and skills they need, I aim to support their growth and overall well-being. Beyond my clinical practice, I actively engage with community organizations, schools, and local agencies to promote mental wellness and deliver educational workshops. I believe in the power of prevention and early intervention, especially when it comes to younger generations. By equipping them with the necessary tools to navigate their emotional well-being, we can create stronger, more resilient communities. I am also committed to addressing systemic barriers that hinder access to mental health services. Collaborating with professionals, policymakers, and community leaders, I advocate for policies that promote mental health parity and strive to eliminate disparities within the healthcare system. My goal is to heal communities by empowering younger generations, healing families and couples, and providing mental health therapy to individuals. In all aspects of my work, I bring a warm and nurturing demeanor, fostering an environment of trust, understanding, and growth. It is my privilege to be part of the healing journey of individuals, families, and couples, and I am dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of those I serve in Georgia.
