Hi, my name is Erika, nice to meet you! I am a graduate student at Capella University. I am currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Social Work. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Psychology, from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. After graduation, I started working as a case manager in the field of Human Services in New York City under the leadership of an agency with mission to end the cycle of homelessness by empowering individuals and families to renew their lives with health, homes, and jobs. Today, I work with individuals with eating disorders. My background details working with population at a MICA shelter that served single men struggling with mental health and/or substance use. I am fluent in both English and Spanish. I like working with driven individuals just like you that want to improve their life balance and create more joy in the many relationships in their lives.
