Introduction

Erica is a Mental Health Counselor, who received her master’s degree in Rehabilitation & Mental Health Counseling with additional education in Chemical Dependency in 2017. She looks forward to continuing to serve the St. Cloud and surrounding areas and meeting individuals where they are at and collaboratively coming up with a plan that works best for them to achieve their goals. She enjoys providing individual mental health services primarily to the adult population. Erica has experience working with a variety of mental health concerns including, but not limited to anxiety, depression, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), career exploration/career-related concerns, and those with medical condition concerns. A few of her special interests include women’s health and working with the college student population. Erica often utilizes person-centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Solution-Based approaches. She began her career working in a Family Medicine/Primary Care clinic, working within an Integrated Behavioral Health model. Erica continues to have great interest in this and has a passion for promoting holistic care and wellness with everyone she works with, collaborating with Primary Care Providers when appropriate to achieve the highest level of care. Erica has had the honor to have the opportunity to speak at the state conference on Co-Occurring Disorders of Depression and Chemical Dependency in the Adolescent population. She has also engaged in developing the Embracing the Difference: The ABILITY Event, a conference that raises awareness on mental health and disabilities to reduce stigma in the community, and has also volunteered at the event for the past several years.
