CURRENTLY UNABLE TO ACCEPT NEW OR RETURNING CLIENTS. After working in higher education for twenty years supporting students with physical and mental health challenges as they navigated academia, I returned to school to complete my MSW and become a licensed therapist. I have worked in hospice and bereavement, in an integrated community health clinic, as part of an agency and now in private practice. I have completed specialized training in treating complex trauma, anxiety, depression and grief, and in working with family systems. My approach utilizes a focus on attachment theory, neurobiology/polyvagal theory, mindfulness and somatic work. It is my belief that it is the therapeutic relationship, more than any tip, trick, or toolbox, that promotes healing and growth.
