Introduction

I have a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and I have been seeing clients since fall of 2021. Since then, I've noticed that I liked working from a person-centered and strength-based approach while looking at the connections between thoughts, feelings, and actions. I'm also a certified PREPARE/ENRICH facilitator so I can offer premarital/marriage counseling. But my experience in the mental health field started after undergrad when I worked as a mental health worker at an inpatient psychiatric hospital. There, I was exposed to different levels of acuity across different disorders and worked with diverse clientele. I've also worked as a behavioral technician, administering ABA therapy to clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Thanks to these experiences, I have chosen to pursue a career in private practice.
