Introduction

I am a board certified, licensed professional counselor in the state of Tennessee with 6+ years of experience as a mental health professional. I would be honored to meet you where you are along your journey to help you uncover your capacity for healing, growth, and self-compassion. Clients I see are typically wrestling with experiences that have impacted the way they view themselves, relationships, and the world around them. These experiences often leave us feeling wounded, unable to reconnect with our best selves or others. If this resonates with you, I might be a good fit for you. As a wounded healer myself I understand the importance of truly being "seen." I seek to support my clients on their road to healing in a way that honors their unique set of values, beliefs, and cultural identity. I will take time to get to know you, helping you to feel understood. Who you want to be is possible. Your story, as it is, doesn't have to define you. I am especially passionate about creating a brave space for clients who are often marginalized by individuals and systems. This includes Persons of Color (Black, Indigenous, Latine/a/o, Asian, Middle Eastern, and multiracial individuals) as well as Queer, Transgender, and Gender Expansive folx (LGBTQIA2S+). I am also honored to support neurodivergent individuals (ADHD/ASD), and clients navigating polyamorous relationship structures and ethical non-monogamy. I integrate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, Emotion Freedom Technique, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) into my work with clients all from a relational, person-centered stance. Wherever you are along your journey, know that it is okay to be there. It would be a privilege to be an ally to you on your way to rewriting and retelling your story. You are worthy of support and capable of healing.
