In life, we experience ups and downs, challenges and experiences. I believe we all have the strength and capabilities to get through the challenges and enjoy the experiences. In difficult times, we might need extra help and support. I want to be there to support you and provide reminders of the abilities you have within yourself to use tools learned in therapy throughout life. I will work collaboratively with you to empower yourself through life's obstacles, improve your quality of life, and return to the joy and excitement of life. I believe in empowerment and pushing to challenge those negative thoughts holding us back. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness tools to help strengthen our abilities to fight back. I use CBT because it is extensively researched and proven to work for a variety of issues we face throughout life. It is through my own experiences with mental health that I developed the commitment to learn self-worth and compassion for others. I specialize in working on issues such as anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, and self-harming behaviors in adolescents and adults ages 12 + and their families, and I am excited to work with you on this journey!
