Introduction

The most transformative aspect of counseling is feeling safe and supported by a knowledgeable therapist who will listen empathetically and without judgment. Together we will use your own inner wisdom applied as "medicine" to overcome obstacles - whether they are internal (low self-esteem, critical inner voice, shame, childhood traumas) or external (loss of a loved one, partner betrayal, family issues). My style utilizes psychodynamic and relational emphasis, with EMDR support as needed. My education background is a Bachelor of Science in Human Development, a Master of Science in Professional Counseling, and a Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have more than twenty years of experience helping people navigate life. I am certified in treating trauma and dissociation. This is a safe space for LGBT*QIA+. This is also an economically safe space. No one will be turned away from services due to payment concerns. We follow the Federal Poverty Guidelines for sliding scale determination.
