Hello! My name is Emma Newton and I am a Counseling Intern at Austin Counseling and Trauma Specialists. I am currently accepting new clients for $60 per session. I came into the counseling profession through an appreciation of how important and necessary social connection and support is in life. I am currently still a student at St. Edward's University on the Marriage and Family track and have gravitated towards working with those who have experienced trauma. My other areas of interest are relational conflict, breakups, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and mindfulness. In a therapeutic space that is safe and non-judgmental, I hope to be an added source of support that everyone deserves in your journey towards growth in your mental health and overall well-being.
