Introduction

As a therapist my goal is to help you uncover your true potential and help you move toward a life that is worth celebrating. While we can’t change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in the present. I believe that my goal is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. While we can’t change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in the present. Working from an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) approach, we will work together to reach beyond your suffering to the larger purpose of your life and helping you get active in really living. ACT is centered on such questions as “What do you really want your life to be about?” and “If you lived in a world where you could have your life be about anything, what would it be?” If you’re looking for extra support and guidance through a challenging situation or you’re just ready to move in a new direction in your life, I look forward to working with you to achieve your goals. My practice also includes the following therapists: Lesley Stout, NCC, CMHC - who specializes in working with individuals who are confronting traumatic experiences following death, betrayal, unexpected life transitions, sexual assault, and/or abuse. Lesley is also providing EMDR therapy under supervision until she is independently certified. Jennifer Trapp, CSW - also specializes in working with trauma and is only telehealth at this time. K.C. Hill, Med - who works primarily with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, adjustment, relationship issues, sport/performance difficulties, and boundary challenges. Ali Coplin, Reiki Master Practitioner - Reiki is a gentle, hands-on healing modality where healing and regenerative life force energy is channeled from the practitioner’s hands into the client. The benefits range from deep relaxation, enhanced cellular healing, detoxification, balancing, and grounding of all the energy bodies. This healing modality and system originated in Japan in the early 1920s, but the methodology of healing involving “laying of the hands” spans thousands of years. This healing modality complements any belief system or religion and also can enhance any medical treatment, therapy, or process you may be going through. Reiki treatments can be offered both in person and also at a distance.
