Introduction

Does life feel heavier than it appears on the outside? You might be managing to keep things going day by day, yet deep down, you feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or just plain exhausted. If this resonates with you, know that you’re not alone, and you deserve a space where your feelings are truly heard. My practice exists to provide that space, helping you reconnect with yourself, find your footing, and create a life that feels authentic and fulfilling. Growing up in Mexico, I witnessed firsthand the stigma surrounding mental health, feeling its impact in my own life. I've navigated the complexities of bullying, faced the challenges of moving abroad alone, dealt with difficult work environments, and experienced the profound grief of pregnancy loss. These experiences have deepened my commitment to supporting others through their own messy, often unspoken struggles. I truly understand that our pasts can carry significant pain and heartache, and it’s essential to honor those experiences as part of our journey. However, while our past shapes us, it doesn't have to define who we are or the future we can create. My aim is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your feelings, heal from your experiences, and grow on your own terms. I hold a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Suffolk University, with training in EMDR, DBT, EFT, foundational IFS, and specialized training in Sex, Desire, and Relationship Issues. My background in community health and addiction treatment enriches my culturally sensitive, trauma-informed approach, allowing me to support individuals and couples from all walks of life. While my training provides a solid foundation, I recognize that each session brings its own unique needs and experiences. My approach focuses on being attuned to your individual circumstances, offering personalized support that evolves with your journey. I invite you to simply be yourself when you arrive; I’m here to genuinely see you and understand your story. Together, we will cultivate a nurturing space that honors your life experiences and meets you wherever you are. Therapy is about supporting you as you navigate your unique challenges while fostering personal growth, resilience, and healthier relationships. In this compassionate environment, we can explore your journey together, ensuring you feel seen, understood, and empowered to move forward. If you’re curious about how we might work together, I offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation. This is a great opportunity for us to connect and determine if I am the right fit for your needs. Thank you for considering me as your therapist. --- *Please note: I am considered an out-of-network provider. Though I don’t work directly with insurance, you may be able to receive reimbursement for therapy sessions. You can check your options here: https://mentaya.com/checkbenefits/LtNn4MzyCtwRgo2Z7m6E
