My style is calm and non-judgemental. I use CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) to empower clients to take better control of their thoughts and create healthy coping strategies. Through also ncorporating DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) in sessions as well, I am able to help clients challenge negative thinking patterns while regulating emotions to feel more level. I utilize a solution focused approach while holding space for clients to process in their own way. Sometimes, all we need is someone to listen, and my hope is this creates space for solution- focused therapy and allows clients to see past the current crisis. Light over darkness is possible! I hope that clients feel safe and welcome during our sessions. I believe being active is great medicine, I love a good walk and talk session. I hope to empower each client I see with the strengths they possess. I hope everyone feels safe and heard when they enter the door. If requested, therapy from a faith perspective can be utilized.
