Introduction

I am passionate to assist clients with healing the mind, body and spirit while seeing each person as an individual in the context of the environment. I use a humanistic, client centered, strengths based approach while acknowledging that each individual is unique and motivated through free will to achieve their highest potential. I use cultural competence and humility and I hold space for vulnerability and acceptance during each session. I work with people who have experienced or been affected by trauma, grief, loss, adoption, racial identity issues, childlessness as well as people's whose losses are not publicly seen (ambiguous loss/disenfranchised grief). I am an EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Practitioner, trained by the EMDR Education and Training Center to help clients reprocess past traumatic events. I use an Internal Family Systems (IFS) lens with EMDR to look at parts (emotions) showing up within the client to see these parts' motivation to get to the root of what might be bothersome to the client. I also use Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) which is a technique that uses client self administered tapping on meridian points in the body to move stuck energy/emotions. I am also trained in Reiki I and II which uses universal life energy to heal the physical body which in turn, helps shift the mind, body and spirit. All of these modalities can be used through telehealth services. I want to meet clients where they are in the healing process and identify how to best serve them specifically. I invite clients to join me in the healing process which takes courage, strength and vulnerability. I value each person as you are and hope we can journey together to get you where you want to be in life. I am a licensed clinical social worker (LICSW) with my Master of Social Work (MSW) and Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Washington.
