Introduction

I am a Licensed Mental Health Therapist and Substance Use Disorder Professional in the State of Washington. I have extensive experience working with the LGBTQ community (and identify within the community), am open and affirming of kink/polyam relationships, and provide letters for trans care. I view my work from a feminist and social justice lens. I specialize in relational psychodynamic therapies which focus on depth of identity and self: what motivates you; where do you find meaning in life; how have your relationships with family and significant others shaped who you are? I view my therapeutic practice as a space in which I can live out my belief that relationship is a deep resource for healing even as it a place of wounding for many of us. Therapy is a sacred, messy, and sometimes confusing process. My overall intentions when I go to work with someone are to create a space that feels safe, that is non-judgmental, and that encourages reflection, curiosity, and creativity.
