Emily earned her masters degree from Regis University and is a Marriage and Family Therapy Candidate who specializes in working within a systemic/relational framework with individuals, couples, and families. Originally from the suburbs of Chicago, she received her bachelors degree in human physiology from the University of Iowa and is passionate about combining the worlds of mental and physical health to promote overall well-being. Emily incorporates EFT in her couples work to identify underlying emotions, address attachment wounds, and promote understanding and communication to end negative cycles in your relationship. She also enjoys working from a Satir and Narrative perspective with families and individuals. Beyond relational conflicts, Emily has experience working with trauma, grief and loss, LGBTQ, and eating disorders. With every client, she strives to create a safe space for them to discuss hard or painful topics to achieve mental peace and an improved relationship not only with yourself, but with those in your life.
