I work with people across the lifespan to help them explore patterns, gain deeper understanding into their lives and move towards desired changes. I specialize in using play and art therapy to work with children and adolescents who are encountering emotional challenges at home, school and with identity formation. I also have a strong interest in working with adults seeking support with life transitions, parenting, relationships, anxiety and grief. I practice with a trauma focused lens where I recognize the way past trauma can manifest both emotionally and physically. I welcome using expressive arts interventions with adults as desired. I practice psychodynamic, trauma informed, and relational psychotherapy. This means that I believe that people’s past experiences and relationships offer important insights into the present day. My relational lens means that I view the therapeutic relationship as meaningful and foundational in developing self-agency, awareness, and trust. My approach is collaborative, warm, and empathetic with a focus on ensuring that my clients feel understood.
