Emily believes everyone is able to access their own innate healing through creative methods. She offers art therapy, mindfulness, breath-work, and somatic techniques. She believes that by holding a caring, sacred space and time, it allows folks to do their healing work. She obtained her Masters in Expressive Art Therapy & Mental Health counseling at Lesley University, Cambridge MA (2011) and her BS in art therapy. Her thesis was exploring cultural intersectionality within the art therapy profession. Fine art art training was completed at Art Institute of Boston & Lorezno di Medici in Florence, Italy. She is passionate about a variety of mediums and enjoys their unique properties to elicit different experiences. She is certified in applied polovagal theory for yoga therapy, has taken yoga for emotional health and healing intensive training, training in mindfulness and meditation for peak performance, and continues to study and deepen her understanding of the neurobiology of interpersonal healing.
