Introduction

People who are living with depression, anxiety, trauma, and chronic health conditions face a unique and often overwhelming loop of emotional and physical challenges. Sometimes people feel defeated, burnt out, and stuck in patterns that hinder personal growth. Breaking free from these patterns requires a comprehensive approach, addressing that feedback loop between emotional wellness and physical health conditions. Learning skills to make safe and healthy changes empowers people decenter the diagnosis and live more fulfilling and meaningful lives. I adopt a person centered, strength based approach in counseling sessions. I help you identify and explore your personal values and inherent capabilities. Combining your strengths with tangible coping skills like mindfulness and somatic exercises creates a strong foundation for holistic change and living a fulfilling life. Starting this journey toward wellbeing takes courage. If you find yourself navigating physical and emotional wellness, wanting a holistic approach, needing understanding, or simply needing a compassionate space to share your thoughts and feelings: Reach out - You deserve a space where your voice and your lived experience are heard and respected. Currently providing telehealth individual counseling sessions and telehealth group therapy sessions to residents of Ohio and Indiana. Group counseling sessions are for adults diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes or Latent Autoimmune Diabetes in Adults (LADA). The purpose of group meetings is to provide psychoeducation to improve emotional wellness as well as peer support while managing a chronic illness. Some topics addressed in group are diabetes burnout and distress, coping skills (CBT, mindfulness, iRest), resources, goal setting, ways to build support, improving overall wellness, and celebrating successes. Group counseling sessions are 90 minutes and currently are self-pay. Cost is $50 per participant. Please check with your insurance provider for out of network benefits for individual counseling sessions. FSA & HSA funds may be used for counseling services for group and individual counseling sessions.
