Emily uses a direct Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach with a strong component of mindfulness for all of her clients. However, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and/or Inference-Based CBT (I-CBT) is utilized to treat OCD. Emily is a SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions) provider for parents of anxious children. Emily is also a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist (CCH) and can use hypnotherapy for clients who feel stuck or have difficulty with emotional expressiveness. Emily received her undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree at Mercer University, double majoring in Psychology and Program in Service Learning (Human Services), and her Master of Science degree in Applied Psychology at Georgia College & State University.
