Introduction

Hi Friends! I'm Emily and am so happy you are here to explore the possibility of therapy. I believe connection with others is at the core of what we long for and sometimes just having one person to create a new positive relational experience with can help you through the season of life you are in. I work with individuals, couples, and families looking for a place to grow individually or to connect more in their relationships. I help my clients identify negative patterns and aim to foster a relationship to help them feel less alone, lost, or frustrated with their current life struggles. I fully believe that our past experiences play a major role into the way we view ourselves and interact with those around us. My work emphasizes the importance of one's emotional experience and may include diving into past relationships or experiences in order to better understand the root cause of the emotional or mental struggle at play. Therapy is an opportunity for growth and healing. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate and graduated with my Masters Degree from Whitworth University. I have training and experience in a number of individual and family frameworks as well as specialize in working with couples. I have advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy and the Gottman Method.
