My name is Emily Cobb. I am a client centered clinician who is dedicated to helping people see their strengths and value. I believe everyone has something to teach and learn, even the smallest human to the most experienced human. I have extensive experience and training in trauma treatment and play therapy. I believe in meeting people right where they are and working toward individualized goals and ambitions. I value honesty and compassion in the highest regard, which guides me in all I do. I genuinely believe every client must find the right fit for them. As humans, we are infinitely complex and wonderful. Building adequate rapport and engagement is the most important part of the therapeutic process. Healing is a journey, not a destination. I am a licensed clinical social worker in TN. I have 10 years of mental health experience treating a variety of challenges. I utilize experiential techniques to reinforce concepts and build coping skills. I have a master’s degree in social work from University of Tennessee. I am a member of National Association of Social Workers and Association of Play Therapy.
