I believe in the power of therapy to transform lives. I am a graduate of Wright State University with a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I work with minors and adults using evidence-based practices and provide counseling services virtually and in-person at a private office located in Centerville, OH. I strive to provide an accepting and non-judgmental environment. I enjoy being an ally and advocate for my clients. I believe that mental health is treatable, and that everyone has strengths that can be used to improve well-being. Whether needing support to manage a mental health condition, make positive changes, process the past, improve your self-care or relationships, or for other needs I am honored to be part of your support system. I use an integrative approach that combines different psychotherapy theories and techniques. I implement core counseling and therapeutic practices of empathic listening, acceptance, and strategic inquiries. I also like to provide psychoeducation and resources for clients to use and refer to in-between sessions. In the first session I like to get to know the history and background of the client, concerns, symptoms, and from there work with the client to establish clear goals and objectives individualized to their needs and wants. I have experience working with anxiety, mood disorders, stress and trauma related disorders, personality disorders, and neurodevelopmental disorders. I offer sessions weekdays and Saturday mornings. When not working with clients or on continuing education, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading a good book, trying a new recipe or restaurant, and exploring Ohio and my metro area’s parks.
