Introduction

One of the most important things about your mental health treatment is finding a provider with whom you feel safe and connected. The relationship you develop with your therapist allows you to explore your needs and what changes you want to make in your life in a candid, open way - and without building trust, treatment might not feel effective. My philosophy is that by building a good relationship, you can talk about some of the worst times of your life, past trauma, or things you might be uncomfortable telling family and friends - so that you can overcome these challenges. These challenges might include things like relationship difficulties, complications with your sex life - including desire, fear or discomfort with sex that comes from a history of trauma, BDSM/kink, sexual orientation/gender exploration - depression, anxiety, trauma. We are all capable of change, of happiness, and healthy coping. At this time, my availability is limited to Fridays in the afternoons and evenings. If this works for you and you want to see if we make a good fit, call and set up a free phone screening.
