As a QPOC therapist, my passion lies in decolonizing hearts and minds, and unraveling the ways systems of oppression impact and affect our mental, physical and spiritual health and wellbeing. This work that I do is relational, and that means that I believe the most powerful aspect of therapy lies within relationships - to ourselves and to others, and that healing and growth happen in the presence of safety and in truly being seen, heard, and understood. As an IFS and somatic therapist, our work together will prioritize slowing down and moving inward, moving from the head, into the body. What we know in the field of trauma work is that we can’t think our way through, or into healing, so instead we will explore and learn the language of the body. In my free time, I enjoy being outside, practicing qigong, fiercely non-competitive dance aerobics, meditating, baking, watching movies, learning new skills, starting and never finishing books, hiking the local canyons and sitting with trees. I look forward to meeting you and seeing where this work can take you.
