I believe that we all have within us the ability to achieve the growth and change that we desire, and will do so when we have the necessary understanding, tools, and sense of empowerment. I strive to help my clients reach their goals by providing these necessary conditions within a caring and compassionate environment. While I utilize a variety of techniques to address the individual needs of clients, my work often draws on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered (Rogerian), and Experiential therapy approaches. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR).
