Ely Peralta, LCSW-C, believes that therapy is a dynamic relationship between client and therapist tailored to the client’s individual needs. Ely provides a safe, judgment-free space for clients, especially those with marginalized identities, to explore their authentic selves. He focuses on fostering self-discovery and emotional expression across the lifespan, working with children, adolescents, young adults, adults, parents, and families. His specialties are in supporting LGBTQIA+, neurodiverse, and disabled individuals in navigating concerns around the way they relate to their world and the way that their world relates to them. He also has experience addressing anxiety, depression, and trauma and draws from relational, narrative, dialectical behavior, and mindfulness-based approaches to promote healing and growth. Ely is licensed in MD, DC, and VA.
