Counselors at FIT will utilize an eclectic modality which is a type of therapy that meets the client and their needs by drawing from multiple therapeutic approaches in order to select the best treatment for each individual client. It can be viewed as a combination of different therapy approaches that is tailored to each client depending on their problems, goals, and expectations. These modalities and techniques may include, cognitive behavioral, person-centered, solution-focused, ABA, Adlerian theory, Bowen Family Therapy, transpersonal, expressive therapy, play therapy and mindfulness.
