Introduction

Ellie is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Washington. She received her degree from Whitworth University and is an active member in the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT). Ellie has experience working with individuals, couples and families. As a trauma-informed therapist, Ellie is committed to helping individuals and families learn about their trauma and the role it may play in one's life. Along with trauma, Ellie also has experience with grief, anxiety, self-esteem, life transitions, familial discord, etc.. Ellie has a humanistic approach to therapy and believes in taking a collaborative approach to achieve attainable goals in therapy. In addition to working with adults, Ellie is also a certified Parent-Child Interaction Therapist (PCIT). Ellie aims to come alongside you to help foster your relationship and connection with your child. PCIT is an evidence-based model for children ages 2-7 experiencing behavioral issues. Through live coaching and at-home practice, you will see a decrease in severity and frequency of your child's tantrums/emotional outbursts, and an increase in security and attachment within the relationship. For more information regarding PCIT, please visit www.pcit.org. If you are interested in scheduling a phone consultation, please send an appointment request, call (509) 370-9835 or email at ellie@junipernwcounseling.com.
