I am a licensed clinical social worker in Juneau, AK. I offer individual psychotherapy services to adult women (18+) and reflective consultation to individuals and groups. I practice relational psychotherapy supported by psychodynamic theory, cognitive therapy and trauma theory. My approach is compassionate, collaborative and hopeful. I have extensive experience working with individuals dealing with trauma, depression, anxiety, PTSD, interpersonal violence and complex relational crises. It can be a challenge to remain present and functional in life when dealing with unresolved confusion and pain. Therapy can create space to view what’s obscured by stress/fear and develop capacity to attend to it. I offer talk therapy, somatic interventions (including EMDR, mindfulness activities & visualization), and reflective practice - there are many paths that can lead to reconnection and joy. Reflective consultation is offered as consistent, ongoing support to individuals and/or groups. It is a professional skill building experience that can enhance critical thinking skills, reduce reactivity, strengthen relationships and offer insight amidst challenging or stressful situations. This type of consultation is based on developmental and attachment theory, and informed by interpersonal neuroscience. The consultant and the participant (s) engage in collaborative tasks within a structured framework. At this point in time, I am an out of network provider and do not bill insurance. Payment is due at the time of service. If requested, I can provide a superbill to be submitted to insurance for reimbursement. Please email me at eandrewslcsw@gmail.com for more information, to schedule an appointment or for a brief 15min. consult (free).
