Dr. Elizabeth Zhe is a licensed psychologist and a state and nationally certified school psychologist. Dr. Zhe earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the State University of New York, College at Geneseo (2001). She then pursued studies at the University at Albany, State University of New York, where she received a Master of Science in Educational Psychology and Methodology (2003), a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in School Psychology (2005), and a Doctorate of Psychology in School Psychology (2006). A predoctoral internship and postdoctoral work followed at Boys Town, NE, working with youth in residential care and families from the Omaha community in a behavioral pediatrics outpatient clinic. Dr. Zhe has since worked in independent schools, in both day and boarding settings, and in outpatient care wherein she has served a diverse population of youth. Dr. Zhe strives to understand and honor the uniqueness of each individual and family. She joins her clients in identifying their strengths, their lagging skills and in investigating the goodness of fit between an individual and environmental variables. Each client unites with her in setting and reaching personalized goals. Dr. Zhe specializes in working with children, adolescents, young to mid-age adults, and their families and schools. She conducts comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and evaluations of cognitive functioning, ADHD, learning differences/learning disabilities, learning enrichment, executive function, and social-emotional-behavioral challenges. Her therapy interests include emotion regulation, anxiety, stress management, life transitions, self-worth, and working with individuals impacted by ADHD and learning challenges.
