I have 14 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families from diverse backgrounds in a variety of clinical settings including inpatient hospitals, community based settings and for the past five years in private practice. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety and depressive disorders with special interests in teen and women's health. I use a client-centered, culturally-sensitive approach with a variety of treatment methods to fit my client's diverse needs including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution-focused, family systems therapy, and also incorporate art and play therapy modalities into my practice. As your therapist, I seek to provide a welcoming and safe space for my clients to explore challenges impacting their daily lives, and believe that "the beauty of the world lies in the diversity of its people."
