Introduction

Your loved one (mother, father, sister, brother, etc) calls you. You love your family; however, as soon as you see their name on your phone, you become stressed out, annoyed, sad, or irritated because you do not want to answer but you feel obligated to answer. Sometimes the reason you don’t want to answer is that you simply do not have the time to sit on the phone and talk to them. You had a long day at work and the last thing you want to do is talk to them. You want to just enjoy a nice evening at home with your partner or by your self. Setting boundaries with loved ones can be very difficult. Not having clear boundaries has taken a toll on our lives. Boundaries represent structure, order, and rules. When we establish healthy boundaries, we form healthy relationships. In fact, we were not taught about boundaries growing up. We were raised in a household where parents were overly harsh when they were disciplining us. Sometimes we experienced childhood trauma that led us to develop an unhealthy relationships with our current friends or partner. That is why I am here. I am here to help you heal from wounds that are affecting your ability to set healthy boundaries. I am here to prepare you with the skills to set healthy boundaries.
