Introduction

Hi, I am Elizabeth, supervised by Dr. Pedro Blanco, PhD, LPC-S, RPT-S. I am a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor Associate. I have experience working with kiddos, teens, families, and adults. I believe one of the bravest things you can do is begin to understand your own story and embrace all the ups and downs that come with life. As one of my favorite authors would say, "you do not yield". My passion and commitment as a counselor is to provide a safe and trusting environment where you can be yourself and work through any obstacles from life in order to move towards healing. We will work together to create individualized treatment plans and goals on this journey! I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UT Arlington and my Master of Science in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling from Tarleton State University. I am currently working on my Registered Play Therapist certification and am passionate with working with kiddos under ten where I provide child-centered play therapy. My goal for sessions is for you to feel heard, validated, and safe to process through any stressors or events from your life. Thank you for taking this first step and I look forward to walking alongside you in this new adventure. As a first generation Mexican immigrant I am passionate with working with the LatinX community.
