Liz earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Oregon Health and Science University, and she continued her education there, earning a Doctor of Nursing Practice as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Professional Background Liz started her career in healthcare as a caretaker for medically fragile foster children. For over ten years, she cared for children with both medical and psychiatric illnesses. This experience sparked her interest in nursing, and more specifically, in psychiatry. Liz has worked as an acute care psychiatric nurse for nearly five years before transitioning into her current role as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in the outpatient setting. Liz holds current licensure as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and as a Registered Nurse in the state of Oregon. Personal Interests Liz spends much of her time with family and friends. During the basketball season you can find them watching the Boston Celtics win another championship, and during football season they are busy cheering on the Seattle Seahawks. Other hobbies include gardening, puzzles, and all things relate to Halloween.
