Introduction

Thrive Wellness comprises Elizabeth Davis, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been working in the mental health field since 2000, and Mesa Owen, SWC. We offer a strength-based approach to mental health counseling. Our goal is to help you identify unhealthy patterns and themes that interweave your life.  We strive to work with individuals and groups to change knee-jerk reactions that ultimately create discomfort in order to achieve joy, balance, and perspective. We are trauma-informed therapists and practice the following treatment modalities - Internal Family Systems, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. We want to help you become the best version of yourself. We believe that life can be hard whether we have an organic predisposition, traumatic event, or any other of the ups and downs that life presents.  It’s how we get through the tough times that is paramount. At times we turn to substances, food, or ineffective behaviors to numb the pain and avoid the present. We can all benefit from partnering with a therapist or coach during times of desired growth. We are human, imperfect, and at the same time, perfect as we are. We believe that therapy can provide an opportunity for learning, growth, and examination of themes we play out throughout of lives.  We believe that life is colorful and beautiful - just not every moment. We offer telehealth services throughout Colorado. Mesa Owen provides in-person therapy in Norwood, CO.
