Introduction

Welcome! I am Elizabeth Cunningham, an LPC Associate providing compassionate and confidential virtual counseling services. With a strong commitment to helping individuals navigate their mental health journeys, I am here to offer support, guidance, and effective therapeutic solutions to promote emotional well-being and personal growth. I bring a wealth of experience and advocacy to my counseling practice. I hold a Master's degree in Education and Human Development in Counseling and Development focusing on Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling from Lamar University, and I am licensed as an LPC Associate under the supervision of Candice Ashley, Ph.D., LPC-S, NCC, K-12 PSC. My passion for mental health and dedication to helping others has driven me to pursue a career in counseling, and I am honored to be a part of your journey towards emotional well-being. As an LPC Associate, I offer a range of therapeutic services designed to address various mental health concerns and support individuals in achieving their goals. My services include: • Individual Counseling: One-on-one sessions tailored to address personal challenges such as anxiety, depression, stress, and self-esteem issues. • Couples Counseling: Helping couples improve their communication, resolve conflicts, and build stronger, healthier relationships. • Family Therapy: Assisting families in navigating complex dynamics, enhancing communication, and resolving conflicts to foster a supportive family environment. • Adolescent Counseling: Supporting teenagers in managing academic stress, peer pressure, and other adolescent-specific issues, helping them develop healthy coping strategies. • Grief and Loss Counseling: Providing a safe and empathetic space for individuals coping with the loss of a loved one, offering support in the grieving process and finding ways to heal. I believe in a client-centered and holistic approach to therapy, utilizing evidence-based techniques to meet each individual's unique needs. My therapeutic modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and more. I strive to create a warm, non-judgmental, and collaborative environment where clients feel empowered to explore their thoughts and emotions and make positive changes in their lives.
