I am affiliated with Mary Barbour Therapy, LMFT. People seek therapy for various personal reasons, and whatever has brought you here, I am committed to supporting your journey toward healing and growth. Together, we’ll work toward your therapeutic goals, fostering a collaborative, trusting relationship along the way. How I work: My approach is primarily psychodynamic, focusing on exploring unconscious thoughts and feelings that shape current behaviors and patterns. I incorporate a variety of evidence-based practices and modalities in my work, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), to support clients in developing healthier thought patterns and behaviors, while also fostering acceptance and mindfulness. I also have training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based method designed to help individuals reprocess traumatic memories and alleviate emotional distress. Together, we can work towards achieving your goals and creating lasting positive change.
