Introduction

The key aspect to treatment is establishing a therapeutic relationship, first. Building trust and understanding the person I am helping is important and leads to better results. In therapy, I come from a compassionate, empathetic, supportive approach. I work collaboratively with individuals on the goals they want to work on. Together we will explore what may be challenging and devise a plan on how to overcome those challenges and celebrate success. My counseling style and therapeutic techniques are a blend of client-centered, cognitive-behavioral and solution focused therapy, making each session tailored to your specific needs. Hearing someone’s story, finding what they think and making sense of behaviors together seems to be most helpful. I value creating the space for safety and vulnerability, while providing support and understanding allows each person to work through whatever difficulty they may be facing. I am grateful to be part of your journey and look forward to helping you heal.
