As mental health has been brought to the forefront of our consciousness in the past few years, many people are identifying a need for additional support in their relationship to maladaptive habits. Whether you are entering a new chapter in your life or interested in making positive changes, therapy offers support for your health and well-being. My goal is to help you live a balanced, healthy, and fulfilled life, using therapy to build tools and coping skills to manage stressful life events. As a Licensed Master Social Worker, my career began at the Johns Hopkins Department of Psychiatry, treating individuals with complex needs specific to substance use and dual diagnosis, such as Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, Mood Disorders, Stress, and Trauma Disorders. My practice draws on the evidence-based approaches of Psychodynamic Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness. Utilizing a multidisciplinary approach, I partner with my clients to foster their ability to live a healthy and fulfilled life, in a safe, confidential, discrete, and non-judgmental environment.
