Eliza Cady

MA, LMHC Eliza Cady Counseling
Specialties: Relationship Issues, Individual, Teens, Family Counseling, Marital and Premarital,

Introduction

I work with couples, adults, and teens to guide healing, positive change, and growth. I help couples from the premarital stage to decades-long relationships improve communication, conflict, and heal from past and current wounds. Grounded in the Gottman Method and Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT), my approach is research-based, collaborative, and tailored to the unique dynamics of each relationship. In my work with adults, I specialize in relational issues. I offer guidance on dating and love, help establish healthy boundaries, provide insights into understanding attachment patterns, assist in managing family relationships, and support the expansion of emotional intelligence. In my work with teens, I specialize in supporting issues around stress, anxiety, peer and family relationships, self-esteem, and emotional regulation. My work with teens is grounded in trust, safety, and skill-building.  About me: Some of my core values are open-mindedness, continuous learning and growth, and connection with others through meaningful relationships. I am from Seattle, lived in Ohio for a few years, and have been back in Seattle for the past 12 years. I spent most of this time working in the corporate world and went back to school for a counseling degree in 2018. Outside of therapy work, I like to spend time with loved ones, get outside, go to shows, see new places, and hang out with my two cats. If you would like to learn more about working with me, please reach out by email or visit my website. I look forward to meeting you!
