Elena Knutson is a Venezuelan clinical psychologist and an American clinical social worker (LCSW) with a master's in community clinical psychology from Catholic University, Caracas, Venezuela and a Master of Social Work from the University of Houston. She is certified in the treatment of trauma (CCTP) and is a lecturer, researcher, and writer. She has a unique human and social sensibility. She has over 15 years of experience in assessments, psychotherapy, counseling, research, clinical interventions, psychoeducation, and interdisciplinary teamwork. Elena has helped individuals and groups who have experienced complex trauma and mental health issues in multi-ethnic communities, including immigrants and refugees. Elena founded Sublime Growth, PLLC, a private practice, and Sublime Growth Ministry, where she showcases her skills as a mental health provider, speaker, author, entrepreneur, leader, and Christian professional woman. She is a non-fiction writer and musician who enjoys lyrical singing in her free time.
