Feeling anxious, depressed, or overwhelmed? Do uncontrollable thoughts or emotions keep you from being happy and present in the moment, or cause you to act out in ways you don't like? I help teens, young adults, and adults find relief from the issues that impact their health, relationships, and self-esteem. My experience in trauma-informed and behavioral therapies enable me to help individuals successfully overcome the challenges they face. Together in session, we will establish boundaries, explore unhelpful thinking patterns, recognize triggers, and learn to be more present in your everyday life. I will listen to and support you, and at times, challenge the unhelpful thoughts and beliefs that are no longer serving you. Together we will navigate the issues that are preventing you from experiencing wholeness, and work to build a life worth living. I work with clients who may be struggling with pain internally and in their relationships. During our initial sessions, we will identify your most important issues and collaborate to create a plan for addressing them. Many of my clients feel better able to cope within a few sessions, and experience sustained improvement in their mental/emotional lives and relationships thereafter. I understand how challenging it is to make sustainable changes in our lives. It is my honor to walk alongside clients in their journeys toward emotional and relational health and wholeness. Sound like a good fit? I encourage you to reach out to me to connect! I am nationally certified by the NBCC. I have received certification in trauma-informed therapy and am extensively trained in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS).
