Hi, I’m Elaina, a bilingual (Spanish/English), trauma-informed therapist and first-generation Dominican American. I specialize in working with adults, particularly Latinx and BIPOC women, navigating anxiety, trauma, generational wounds, and family-of-origin challenges. Since I was young, I’ve felt called to create a space where mental health could be talked about openly, especially in communities where it's often stigmatized or silenced. My own experiences and cultural background shape the way I show up in the therapy room, with compassion, cultural humility, and deep respect for your lived experience. My approach is holistic, somatic-informed, and grounded in practices like Brainspotting, IFS-informed therapy, and ACT. I focus on helping you reconnect with yourself, set boundaries without guilt, and heal the parts of you that learned to survive through self-sacrifice or silence. You don’t need to have all the answers to begin just a willingness to be curious. Together, we’ll explore how your past shows up in your present and work toward lasting change that feels empowering and aligned with who you truly are.
