Introduction

It is our goal to Believe, Inspire, Grow, & Go! E.J. Dickens, our CEO & Managing Director is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the Florida Panhandle. She has over 20 years of experience working in the behavioral health field. She has worked with various population groups over the years. She has specialized training and experience treating co-occurring disorders, trauma, and also working with individuals who have experienced Human Trafficking (HT) and/or the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC). Our Director believes the client is the expert regarding his or her life experiences. Her therapeutic approach is supportive and transformative. She believes there is no one theory that suits every scenario. Therefore, she uses integrative methods utilizing the major therapy styles (Cognitive, Behavioral, Psychoanalysis, Humanistic and Holistic). She believes in advocating and educating with dignity and respect. Empathy, equity, and excellence are her driving forces. Compassion are care are a couple of her strengths.
