Introduction

Eileen is the owner of Renew Therapy. She uses her own lived experience as a mother of three, along with her Perinatal Mental Health Certification, to help those struggling with and adjusting to life postpartum. A passion of hers is to change the way we support new parents in the postpartum period. She also finds immense joy in working with all parents, to help them address parenting & family concerns and find ways to support their children, who may also be struggling with their mental health. Eileen's therapeutic approach with parents is born from her love of children. Eileen spent a lot of years working directly with children, which was such a joyful time! But, she found that working with the parents to address the family system and confront generational trauma to be much more effective. She finds it very important to explore our past experiences, childhoods and relationships in order to discover underlying belief's that may be in the way of our success, and helping those who want to heal their families. It starts with us, as adults, doing the work to raise healthy, happy children. While Eileen works with many parents and families, she has experience with, and welcomes all adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, and those adjusting to major life changes! Eileen is now certified in EMDR, an evidenced based trauma treatment. Eileen is excited to bring these new skills to all her clients and help them re-process events from their past that may be holding them back from meeting their therapy goals. She hopes to help make EMDR more accessible to those looking for this type of therapy.
