Hello, I'm Kathleen Clark and I look forward to working with you! Over the past 15 years, I have successfully guided clients in the achievement of emotional well-being and personal growth in the areas of A.D.D./A.D.H.D., Anxiety, Stress, Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders, Low Self-esteem, Life Transitions, Grief and Loss, Abuse, Trauma, and P.T.S.D. I will provide a confidential, compassionate, and non-judgmental atmosphere in which you can safely express and explore your thoughts, feelings, and emotions at your own pace. We will develop a strong therapeutic relationship and will work collaboratively to set achievable goals, and to identify, and explore underlying factors contributing to your challenges. While I focus on providing education, guidance, and support, you will gain valuable assets such as insights, coping techniques, self-management skills, effective interpersonal and communication skills, anxiety and trauma desensitization, a sense of self, hope and resilience, and a sense of empowerment to make and maintain meaningful changes in your life. I earned a Bachelor and Master of Social Work and maintain licenses in both Ohio and Tennessee. To provide you with customized care according to your unique journey, I combine a holistic perspective, with elements drawn from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Exposure Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, Emotions Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), Somatic Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).
