Dr. Edi Peterson has over 20 years of providing active, client-centered compassionate care. She is certified in Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (Albert Ellis Institute, NYC), Biofeedback (University of North Texas), and in Telemental Health provision. Her philosophy of care is not based on diagnosing but seeking symptom reduction and relief. Psychotherapy and behavioral health consultations allow an opportunity to be a mirror for the client, to help them see what is and isn't working so well. Dr. Peterson holds a Master's degree in Applied Cognition and Neuroscience, a Master's in Counseling, and most recently obtained a Doctorate in Behavioral Health to increase services to those clients dealing with lifestyle health challenges and chronic illness. I have partnered with Mentaya to increase availability for clients who want to use their insurance Out-of_Network (OON) benefits.
