Introduction

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at North Carolina Central University in year 2013. I also received my Master of Science in Counseling at Nova Southeastern University in year 2017. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) through the North Carolina Board of Licensed Professional Counselors. I am also a Licensed Counselor Addiction Specialist Associate (LCAS-A) through the North Carolina Addiction Specialist Professional Practice Board. I have experience with assessing and counseling adults, children and adolescents with mental health disorders and substance abuse disorders. I have experience in counseling general areas such as, depression, anxiety, adjustment disorder, substance use, attention deficiency hyperactivity disorder, oppositional defiant disorders, and borderline personality. I have experience with facilitating psycho-educational groups, individual therapy, and family therapy to help individuals cope with their disorders.
